Zeynep “Z” Ekemen, the founder, has vast experience in all areas of real estate including real estate development. As principal, she has brokered many note worthy transactions such as Paypal’s first brick-and-mortar store in New York City.

Zeynep Z Ekemen Zeynep “Z” Ekemen is the Managing Principal and the Broker of Record for Z Realty Group, LLC. She encompasses a broad and diverse knowledge in commercial real estate, franchising and accounting. In her 5+ year career, Z has successfully negotiated numerous investment sales, industrial / retail leases and built-to-suit developments with an aggregate value in excess of $55 million. Z has a strong working relationship with a diverse client list of national and international developers and investors. Z strives to grow her business by always making the client’s needs and objectives her primary goal.

Z has built her company on honesty, professionalism and hard work and passes on this same philosophy to her entire organization. It is her vision that has driven her company to its top ranking. As in the words of Colin Powell, Z truly believes that there are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.

Prior to starting her own company she was a Managing Partner in Cup It Food; a franchise concept based on small point of sale kiosks located in shopping centers, amusement parks, exhibition center, theaters and stadiums. In this position, Z was directly responsible for acquiring retail space, negotiating leases, site selection, construction and full franchising operations. Her keen inside knowledge of the franchising world now gives Z the ability to understand both sides of the table to get any transaction done. As she express’ “Making sure all parties – buyers and sellers – walk away from the table happy. Maintaining integrity and honesty along with professionalism and expertise is a must. The needs of your clients must always come first before your commission”.

A graduate of Pace University with a degree in Accounting, Z also holds a Master of Business Administration degree.
